How it's made

Real-time 3D, built in code: Every part of this watch is modelled in code with three.js on WebGL: a turned case profile, bevelled indices, faceted hands and a swept strap. There are no 3D model files to download. The whole store is one small page served from this site.
Physically based materials: Steel, titanium, ceramic, lacquer, leather and rubber each have their own metalness, roughness and clearcoat, so light behaves on them the way it does on the real thing.
Brushed finishes: The titanium case, the bracelet and the sunray dial use anisotropic reflections. The brushing direction is stored per pixel, so highlights stretch along the grain and sweep across the dial as it turns.
Sapphire crystal: On capable devices the crystal refracts the dial beneath it with sapphire's real index of refraction, 1.77, plus a faint anti-reflective sheen.
Studio lighting: A virtual studio of soft boxes is rendered once into a prefiltered environment map that every reflection samples. A key light casts a soft shadow, and filmic tone mapping keeps highlights natural.
Painted live: The dial print, engraving, leather grain and stitching are drawn on canvases in real time, which is why your engraving appears the moment you type it.
Auto quality: Phones and smaller graphics chips get a lighter pass, without refraction and with smaller shadows, so turning the watch stays smooth.
Private by design: Your bag lives only in your browser. No cookies, no tracking, and no payment details are ever asked for.
